Fabiola Reyna

I am a social communicator, cultural activist and transfeminist artist. I am currently studying a master degree in Cultural Management in Barcelona. In 2017 I founded “Made by women”, a festival that aims to contribute to the reduction of gender gaps in Peruvian cinema, through the exhibition of feature films and short films made by young filmmakers, training meetings and the generation of spaces of debate on the current situation of the audiovisual and cultural sector with a feminist approach and a decentralist vision. This year we are doing the third edition. The project was proposed as a platform for work both at national and community level, so that the design of the programming and activities are jointly proposed with community groups from different regions of Peru, serving as the basis of connection between them and designing the programming according to the particular needs and dynamics of each region. Within our scope is the realization of activities in 39 venues in 10 regions nationwide, the participation of 4500 people, the realization of two decentralized meetings of artists and filmmakers in the north and center of Peru, 10 discussion tables and 11 formative meetings.
