Iris Diaz Carrasco

Brussels (Belgium)

I studied Architecture at Granada University, Spain. After that, I did a Master in Architecture/ Urban Planning at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. During five years, I was part of the collective [IN]SOS. They worked with different city councils and public departments organizing projects to increase citizen participation using the methodology I.A.P (Investigation, Action, Participation), working on Traffic and Public space planning. I have always tried to be a changemaker. For that reason, I have been part of different associations. I was part of the association ''Realejo Habitable'' where they organized several events to fight against climate change. Furthermore, in Valencia, Spain, I founded the Collective Morgana. The main objective was to create equality and sustainable cities. At the same time, I always try to expand knowledge participating in several workshop or attending different courses around Europe. I represent Urban Foxes. an N.G.O, located in Brussels, Belgium.
