Die Beginen Rostock. We are a cultural women association, founded in 1991. We work with women allover generations and cultural background in Rostock and beyond. We are a forum for political discussion, public debats, empowerment and art. Our focus is on the situation of women, to use and improve their competences for democracy. All people in our environment are invited to join our work. We work with other cultural activists, with partners in Denmark, Latvia, Greece, Scotland and Poland. Our partner is also the City of Rostock with their decision making institutions.
